Garage MonkeyPRO™ Heavy Truck
Android commercial-vehicle diagnostics
A mechanic-built workspace for J1939, J1708/J1587, RP1210 vehicle interfaces, whole-truck network health, aftertreatment, parts, reports, work orders, and fleet history.

Complete working platform
Each tool opens in its own focused workspace, with a capability Overview for new users and an operational Dashboard for daily work.
Connection health, engine speed, coolant, boost, battery voltage, active fault summary and aftertreatment status.
Passive J1939 discovery, source-address tracking, PGN activity, DM1 SPN/FMI decoding and live-session recording.
Review active and stored commercial-vehicle faults with system, severity, state and occurrence information.
Monitor key operating values and save real datalink activity for later analysis and customer documentation.
DPF soot, DEF level, SCR efficiency, regen state and a guarded forced-regeneration precheck with before/after reporting.
Capture component photos, record casting numbers and search TPI, FleetPride, TRP, RWC, Rush and Inland parts sources.
Save diagnostic snapshots, record network condition and export repair evidence for customers or fleet managers.
Create persistent customer and fleet jobs with truck details, reported concerns and diagnostic records.
Use the “Garage Monkey” wake phrase to navigate tools and begin safe diagnostic workflows.
Vehicle interfaces
The Android app works through the authenticated Garage Monkey Windows bridge connected to the vehicle interface.
Modern heavy- and light-duty interface with USB, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Established RP1210 adapter for commercial-vehicle diagnostics through a direct USB connection.
The adapter remains connected to a Windows computer running its manufacturer drivers. The Android phone communicates through authenticated USB forwarding or a trusted local network session.
Commercial-vehicle families
Standard SAE coverage depends on the connected vehicle exposing supported J1939, J1708/J1587 or CAN diagnostic data.
Standard faults, live parameters, vehicle identification, datalink health and supported aftertreatment data are the current focus. OEM programming, security access, parameter changes and proprietary service procedures require validated manufacturer-specific support.
Professional safety boundaries
A forced DPF regeneration can create extremely high exhaust temperatures. Garage Monkey requires stationary-operation, parking-brake, neutral, wheel-chock, leak and temperature checks. The final command remains locked until the connected engine and a validated OEM-specific routine are identified.
