Terms of Service
These Terms govern use of the Garage Monkey PRO application, website, hardware bundles, and related services. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter an agreement.
Diagnostic purpose and limitations
Garage Monkey PRO is a diagnostic and workflow tool. It does not replace professional judgment, physical inspection, OEM service information, recalls, safety notices, or required training. Vehicle, ECU, adapter, network, and security-gateway differences can cause results to be incomplete, delayed, unsupported, or incorrect.
Safety-critical operations
You are responsible for securing the vehicle, maintaining ventilation, controlling personnel and equipment around moving or hot components, maintaining battery voltage, and following manufacturer procedures. Do not perform active tests, resets, coding, brake service modes, steering procedures, or regeneration unless you are qualified and the conditions are safe.
Clearing codes and service functions
Clearing codes may erase diagnostic evidence and reset emissions-readiness monitors. A displayed workflow or available button is not a guarantee that a procedure is appropriate for a specific vehicle. Security-protected or OEM-authorized functions may require additional accounts, subscriptions, cables, adapters, or tools.
Accounts, subscriptions, and purchases
Digital Android subscriptions are billed through Google Play when available. Renewal, cancellation, refund, and payment handling are governed by the terms shown during purchase and applicable Google Play policies. Hardware purchases, when offered, will include separate shipping, return, and warranty terms at checkout.
Acceptable use
You may not use the service unlawfully; interfere with its operation; bypass security controls without authorization; misuse vehicle access; distribute malicious code; or attempt unauthorized access to another person's vehicle, account, or data.
User data
You retain ownership of data you enter or collect. You grant the limited rights necessary to process, store, transmit, and display that data only to operate features you request.
Third-party services and hardware
The service may depend on Android, Google Play, vehicle ECUs, OBD adapters, supplier websites, speech services, or user-configured cloud systems. Garage Monkey PRO does not control their availability, accuracy, policy changes, or compatibility.
Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Garage Monkey PRO and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, vehicle damage, personal injury, regulatory failure, or losses arising from reliance on diagnostic output. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
Changes and termination
Features and these Terms may be updated. Access may be suspended for unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or security-threatening use.
